In an effort to reduce administrative requirements for Provincial/Multi-Sport Organizations (PSOs/MSOs), this year we have a streamlined application process for all PSOs/MSOs looking to apply to the following two programs:
• 2016-17 Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund (OSRCF)
• 2016 Sport Priority Fund (SPF)
The application process and timelines have been merged. Applicants are now required to submit only one application package through Grants Ontario, even if choosing to apply to both OSRCF and SPF.
Please note that the requirement for a Letter of Intent for OSRCF has been removed.
Program guidelines and application instructions are available by email to all eligible PSOs/MSOs. See the “Contacts” section below for contact information.
Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Fund – Program Details
Through the support of projects that deliver high-quality programs and policies, the OSRCF provides Ontarians with more opportunities to become physically active, including groups who experience barriers to participating and those who are traditionally less active.
Sport Priority Fund – Program Details
The Sport Priority Fund (SPF) program provides project funding for Provincial/Multi-Sport Organizations (PSO/MSOs), recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, to undertake new sport projects or business initiatives that align with the Ministry’s investment priorities for the provincial sport sector. These priorities include partnering with PSO/MSOs to invest in high performance sport excellence and build their organizational capacity.
