Ontario 400th Celebrations Program

Description

The Ontario 400th Celebrations Program will provide project-based funding to support organizations in developing community engagement projects that celebrate and commemorate 400 years of Francophone presence and contributions in Ontario during 2015. These projects will also be underscored by the anniversary of Samuel de Champlain’s most important voyage to the province. The overall goal is to provide Ontarians with access to a variety of projects that recognize the important role of Franco-Ontarians in the province’s history and development, while stimulating local economies and tourism in the province.
