Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program

Description

The Indigenous Community Capital Grants Program (ICCGP) funds the construction, renovation and/or retrofit of Indigenous community infrastructure on-and off-reserve. The ICCGP supports infrastructure projects that contribute to economic development, create jobs and provide social benefit to the community or organization.

ICCGP funding supports First Nation and Métis communities and Indigenous organizations by:

    • Assisting First Nations and Métis communities, and Indigenous not-for-profit organizations with infrastructure projects across Ontario;

    • Supporting First Nations and Métis communities, and Indigenous not-for-profit organizations in realizing cultural, social, and economic development objectives.

    • Improving the quality of life for Indigenous people and closing the socio-economic gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people in Ontario.

Deadline

The application period is now closed.

Eligibility Requirements

The following Indigenous communities and organizations are eligible to apply for ICCGP funding:

    • First Nations communities in Ontario;

    • Métis communities in Ontario; and

    • Indigenous not-for-profit organizations in Ontario.
