Submitting for funding is as easy as 1-2-3!

1. The first step is to create your ONe-key account and ID. ONe-key is used for secure access to the Government of Ontario system. We strongly recommend that you create Account Recovery Info during this process in case you forget your log-in information. Administrators are unable to retrieve ONe-key IDs.

2. Next you register your organization in the Transfer Payment Ontario (TPON) system. Before you begin to register it is recommended you have the following information available:

    • Canada Revenue Agency Business Number (CRA BN) if applicable. For further information, please refer to the Canada Revenue Agency website (

    • Legal Name: The legal name of your organization is the name printed on official documents (e.g. articles of incorporation, registered business application, etc.)

    • Operating Name: The operating name of your organization is the name commonly used by your clients. For example, an organization’s legal name may be “Ontario123456789’ but commonly referred to as ‘John’s Bookstore’

    • Information for at least two contacts within the organization

3. Once the status of your organization’s registration is completed, the See Funding Opportunities button appears. From here you can request your access type to TPON, view pending/rejected requests and manage funding submissions once approved. Please read additional instructions and check information on specific ministry pages to learn when the opportunities to submit funding applications will be open for their programs.
